Spring is here and now I spend most of my time fishing.    I wish!

Well, you know what they say about hope...

Wow...   I was the first person to mention the Event Inspector.    You guys are slacking off.
LOL! Sorry, Steve. Spring is here and now I spend most of my time fishing.

I wish!

Track days for me..... but winter has just returned so even they are on hold for a while.

I've heard the word snow mentioned in a forecast as well as hail, high winds and good old rain. Gotta love UK weather.....not.

The phrase "bloody awful" springs to mind Karl.

One small caveat about selecting velocities with the Event Viewer.

If the note event at the top left of your selection is what you want all velocities to be changed to, it won't work.

Does that make sense?

Say you want to set all your velocities to = 100

If the first note you grab in a selection is already 100, it won't work.
Setting them all to 99 initially (or any other value) and THEN setting them to 100 does work.

At least that's how it is on my system and has been that way throughout the X series

Just tried to post the method what I use.

1) select notes that you want to change.

2) press alt+p then v.

3) type same value to both of "begin" and "end" then press enter.

4) done.

That's the shortcut for the method I posted here The operation is called Scale Velocities.
