Yeah I see how long the export is taking, and it is definitely a while, and I do not mind that as my projects are quite intensive.

My problem is that it gets to the very end and hangs for 20 minutes plus, like where there is no time left on the progress bar for a good 20 minutes at least.
I left it be and went to the pub the other day, and yes when I got back it was exported, but who knows how long that took. 

Mike, I also agree that if it is playing in real time and sounds how I want it to sound, it should bounce or export as fast as real time.


Algorithms or no algorithms, my plugs are working in real time. My export should be capable of that too, no?

Possibly that you get like a sustain pedal opened at the end, so that the bounce keeps working?

That is a possibility.

I will have to look at the midi data. Again, I wanted to freeze everything, but the 3 or 4 synths I have side chain setups for have to remain in process in order to retain the side chain effect I have set up.

That still seems odd and improbably because the progress bar shows that is pretty much finished, but maybe some envelopes or midi info is keeping it going.
