One of the cool things Daniel Lanois did at Grant Ave studios was to install a low powered radio transmitter in the building. You could then go to the car and listen to the mix as broadcast, while you made notes. This was 30+ years ago.

I did buy it.
 
There are times when this will be the ticket, times when Slate's FG_X will be the ticket and times when Ozone 7 Advanced will be the ticket. At least for me that is.
 
I put Lurssen and FG-X loosley in the same "category". Not very surgical (think limited tweakablity) but if I can get the results I want for the song at hand, I simply use one or the other. If those fail, it's on to Ozone which has now replaced my UAD and T-Racks mastering tools for the surgical stuff.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I just picked this up, well for nothing really, with IK's 2 for 1 deal. Got an iLoud at nearly half price, and then the Lurssens console for zilch. Shame about the iLoud. It's on it's way back. Doesn't run off the battery, one of the, ahh, more important features. But I digress.
 
I hooked this console up at the end of a chain which still includes most of my favourite tools including t-racks gear, and, it's pretty darn good. The eq is awesome. It still needs more features and more control IMO, to make it more valuable, but out of the box, it surprised me big time. Just hope they keep up with the suggestions and updates.
 
Don't discount this gem. If you can get it at the right price, on the day with the right project, it could be just what your looking for. Think I will use this a lot.

If you are returning the iLoud, then you'll be losing the Lurssen...
as they will take that back also.  It was given as part of the BOGO,
which you returned, and therefore, will forfeit, unless you buy
something else that will give it to you for free...

It's being replaced, so all good.
