Long time no post from me, but I've just moved to Win8 over the last couple of months, and X2 Producer installed without issue. The less said about my sound card though, the better...

WIN 8 here with TOUCH... works marvelously.. however, I am having a hard time using TOUCH... because my instincts still reach for the mouse.

The other BAD thing has nothing to do with SONAR rather WIN8.... system setup and maintenance are all different...

A reboot takes FOREVER unless you have fast restart turned on but if you do, the PC never really turns off on a shutdown but rather just goes to sleep.

I am sure that over time I will understand WIN8 better but I wish that MS made the transition to their new GUI idea more transitional rather than "this is ONE huge change".

Ok, I asked because I read where the functionality for Windows 8 will be added later this year.

Thanks for the responses!

that must be an older article because the touch functions' were introduced in the build and then finalized in the x2A patch.

Thank you sir.

Yep, download and install the X2a update and you'll be all set.

To Windows 8 users... looks like the upcoming 8.1 update will reintroduce the Start button, among other things to make previous Windows users happier.

Hi Rich... I've never used that interface, but as long as you have Windows 8 drivers for it, I would think it should work.

Ive updated drivers for the USB interface, changed the audio format, rebooted a few times and it seems not to want to work at all. Is it supposed to use ASIO?

Changing to Always open all devices resolved the issue
