oooookaaay, this is kind of awkward and weird, I could actually fix the problem by changing the usb port where I plug the keyboard.
Kind of strange because sonar detects the CASIO USB MIDI in either usb port... and the kontakt stand alone also work with both  usb ports.} anyway thanks to everybody, I really appreciate your help

always and I mean always plug the keyboard in to the port you installed the drivers too.
sonar will see both but it wont work properly, the same goes for audio interfaces.

On my setup, my Roland keyboards will only respond on USB2 ports, not USB3, although the driver will install with either port.  Not sure why, but that's the way it goes sometimes. Have Sonar open and try other USB ports. When sonar sees one it likes, it will ask if you want to make it active.

USB3 ports often need a separate driver. Have you installed that? Might the problem.

yes, I have 3 usb ports (USB3 all of them) (2 on the left and one on the right of my laptop) I got my interface located at the right of my laptop, so it´s alway pluged in the same port, and my keyboard at the left (the port where the keybopard works it´s actually a usb/esata combo).
I have the usb3 drivers installed.
