Well might as well reveal myself while everyone else is at it. I've been a beta tester for between 2 and 3 years. It's been an honor to preview and test the new features that have been rolled out during that time.

I've been on the Beta Team since the beginning of X3 betas.

Lord Tim
I'll raise my hand.

It was an honour to be a part of the team and getting a good look at the hard work behind the scenes, and putting in a lot of hours trying to track down those annoying intermittent bugs that no one can seem to reproduce when anyone else is watching. (Quantum entangled bugs perhaps?)

We've lost a passionate team of devs who, most importantly, were genuinely good people who really cared about making SONAR great. Really proud to have been a small part of their journey, and working with the other testers.

I was a beta tester from the first version of CWPA through version 9(?). It was good fun trying out new features and providing feedback, finding bugs, etc. My studio work dropped way off (life happens) and I was dropped when I couldn't put the required time in.

I also got to develop the LUI (Little User Interface) application for the Yamaha DSP Factory (remember that soundcard?) that the Bakers made available to the users. There was some talk then of joining the Bakers as a developer, but nothing came of it.

I did beta testing in the early days. Stopping somewhere around 04 or 05. It was very cool in those days to call up Cakewalk (Twelve Tone Systems) during beta testing and have Greg Hendershott answer the phone. I know he had to be extremely busy but the man would take five minutes to talk to you about anything. :-) I seem to remember we used torrent in those days to download builds.

Somebody mentioned scook. It begs the question where is he? I haven’t seen him around.

I was a beta tester during the past couple of years, not with Sonar, but on a few other minor CW products. Unfortunately whenever they gave me something to test I always seemed to be too busy to spend much time on it. And most of the bugs that I discovered had already been reported anyway. Overall I didn't really make a big contribution to the testing. Certainly nothing to brag about in my case.
