  • Clip name to track name?

I've just imported 50 mono audio stems into a new project and the track names are retrieved from the stems - great!

However, the imported tracks don't have any pro-channel settings or FX settings. I've dragged the clips over to a new bank of 50 audio tracks that have my preferred settings but now the track names are "Track 1" "Track 2" etc.

I noticed there's an option to set clip name from track name (Copy Track Name(s) to Clip Name(s)) but not the other way around. Any ideas? Want to avoid doing this by hand...

I know the work around but there must be a simpler solution. Drag you clips to Browser and then back to empty space in Track View. New tracks are created with a original clip name.

Hi. I believe this would also be the case when just dropping the stems into an empty project, from the Browser.
(For future reference)
All the best.

I'll try this but what I want is to be able the new tracks to be created with pro channel and FX bin settings.

Just create a pro channel preset.
Drag the track in, then go to the pro channel and load the preset.
You can also make an FX chain to save your FX preset settings.

Sometimes it is not one thing, you have to use a combination of a few different things.
