For those of you who have started a new project file in X2, which of the following is more true for you:

a) I use the ProChannel's compressor.

b) I use my favorite plug-in compressor(s) as an insert effect.

A) Pro Channel Compressor and EQ.

I have all the Cakewalks expansions packs modules and I can say all sounds just great. I wanted to buy Soft-tube series too but they insist using ILOK dongle that are known to slow down and crash the DAW. So no buy from me until they remove that stupid license control device.

I can tell you that CA-2a "Teletronix-LA2" are just sweet too. One of the best LA's modules I have heard so far.

The SSL Compressor is great too! PC4K S-type. So are the included SSL Bus compressor.

I use my Favorite plugins and sometime use some pro-channel effects,. if that's what the project needs.

b) I use my favorite plug-in compressor(s) as an insert effect..........because my X2 doesn't have ProChannel  (I use MixControl Pro, etc.)
