my collaborator on this one created the drums, bass, and odd fills and sound effects, and sent me a mp3 to check the mix with, and promptly dissappeared!

so i never had a lot of information on the backing tracks.....
to me, it sounds like a fretless sample, put thru some distortion,
ala tony levin style.
either way, i like it!
i probably would play it fingerstyle,
but you are right, the attack on the first note of each riff,
seems pretty tight.
