Funny.  We have had people rant about how they can use Studio One without a manual, and this guy is ranting at Studio One that he can work in Mixcraft without a manual.

So, if he can get some other DAW to work easily, why is he messing around with another one?  These guys crack me up.

Jeff Emagic's Logic 4 had no web site at that time. When I bought it it took 4 month to get the manual. There was no such thing as a help file either.

Is that the same emagic that has..or had(?) ..the eJay series?

Ok, which one of you practical jokers sent "Godparticle" over to the Studio One forum?     We're sending him back on the next Redeye with his pants on fire.

Please do try to keep your pets on a leash.

Trolling again. I think he just does this for entertainment. He tries to get fanboys fired up. ROFL it is entertaining to say the least.

Either the S1 developers are super intelligent or i am damn stupid?

HMMMM I wonder which one it is? I am going with he is damn stupid. his next comment confirms this.

YOU S1 developers need to take A DAMN HARD LOOK AT MIXCRAFT 6 AND COMPLETELY OVERHAUL THE S1 INTERFACE. , so i must be blind as well as damn stupid, but how can that be, because i dam well saw it in Mixcraft 6.

If he spent as much time using mixcraft instead of attacking other DAWS he may just get something done, but not likely. FYI we had him on a leash but he broke away and got free!

Unless of course he's doing it deliberately, in which case he's hooked all of us, line, rod, sinker & copy of Angling Times

"Anyone halfwit can deduce that Presonus Studio One 2.5 is a safe bet compared to this bucket of worms. It seems that Studio One is dream come true compared to this crap, and thousands of users of Studio One will agree with me without reservation, including myriads of former Sonar users."

Apparently he likes Studio One now. He says its the Ducks Nuts as he says on the forum there. He must have spent a few minutes actually reading what people had to say there or the manual to finally figure out what he was trying to do..I think he might be slightly impatient!

I have Studio Ones 2.5 and don't use it. Not because it is difficult to learn because its easy to learn. But because I like X2 better a lot better. I like the way X2 works. I like the options I have in setting it up. I like the depth it has. Most of all it supports my hardware synths.

To me S1 is a nice simple audio program with severe limitations. I'm also a Pro Channel devotee. S1 is not in the same league as Sonar X2.

All opinion not fact. John has not spent enough time with Studio One to make any valid observations about it. I have been using it for two and half years every day. Once you get into it on that level you have a completely different opinion. It is not simple it is very deep. It handles midi very well. I have a serious hardware synth setup and it all works a treat. In terms of stability and reliability it is king. It is not dependant on drivers, OS or anything else, it just works, simple as that. It is bullet proof and has been designed from the ground up, something most other DAW's cannot say. Audio engine is amazing and still way ahead of Sonar. It can also do things that Sonar cannot such as jumping midi tracks while loop recording. It is super creative and you spend no time and I mean no time fiddling around with getting it to work. It already works, you just focus on your music period.

But that is OK John I am happy to agree to disagree.   I also admit that I have been a long term 8.5 user and don't know much about X1 or X2 either. But reading the X1/X2 problems that do come up I am just so glad I have made the right choice because many of the problems that people complain about in Sonar I am not experiencing at all in Studio One.  Oh BTW not one crash since I installed it two and half years ago. Can you say that?

I think the Sonar forum is great though. One of the best. Very informative and very helpful people here. That is why there are many non Sonar users still here I guess.

He is even funnier on there than he was here.

I think my favorite was:-  GP posted  a rant about how something in S1 didn't work, and how useless the manual was.  Some kind and long-suffering member posted some screenshots to help him.

GP posted back his usual abuse, claiming that he had no idea what the pictures were of, or what he meant.

The helpful member pointed out that one of the screenshots was of GP's beloved Mixcraft..  Priceless.

So, did he ever use Mixcraft, even?  He certainly never owned Sonar.  Perhaps he doesn't have S1 either.

Maybe he doesn't have a computer, and just posts from his mum's phone..
