Welcome!

Great to read that you're enjoying Sonar X2.

The natural tendancy of forums is that many will only post when troubled & looking for answers & help, sometimes giving on-lookers and 'visitors' from other forums the impression that the software is flawed and/or less stable than what their using, often leading to criticism, flame wars, nasty comments, etc.

And yet all forums/products have this no matter what. [At least all the ones I belong to anyway.]

Great to have a positive post to help level things out a bit.

Good folks here who like to help out!

CW has great products, as do other companies whose forums I visit almost daily, but for some reason none are quite like this one...    I chalk it up to the members + consistent activity.  For me, you need both to have a great forum.

Plus, post count is the first thing you see under each avatar, and that is very important to some members.

galldanged if I can remember who it was or how I helped him/her.

It was me Ed...you got me all straighted out on buffering post count to MAX without having it count. Very helpful.

Thanks!

This forum is a great learning tool for all Sonar users. A ton of information has been shared here, user-to-user.

I usually don't have to post a new topic if I have a question, because a search often reveals past threads that have covered exactly what I am interested in.

If you do need to start a new thread, you won't have to wait long for responses. Some of the people on here apparently never sleep!

"I have to agree that this forum is about as good as it gets. ...To me it shows how helpful people not only can be, but want to be.  The only regret I have with this forum is my own lack of knowledge limits my ability to help others as I have been helped in the past. "

+1 here, HeyDan

That will come with time as your knowledge & experience increases.

I'll chime in just to agree. I started with Cake 3.0 and have been around here since the pre-Y2K newsgroup days so obviously I think these are great forums with many willing to help. A couple months ago many here helped me spend 200 buckaroos to update from Sonar 5.0PE to X2PE....what better friends are there. :) Carry on....
