Would you post the setup dialog for your VS 100 (screen shot). This is accessed in the CS module on the Control Bar.

Controlling tracks
To control tracks
Hold down the SHIFT modifier button and push TRACK </> until the LCD display shows TRAK.
The channel strip now controls the selected track.

This is from the help file for the VS 100.

OK I would remove the keyboard from the VS 100 and give it its own port.

I can see where the keyboard might be causing command issues that could result in the slider input not being recognized.  Like John suggester, I would try this from a reboot without the keyboard plugged in and see if the slider works.

You are doing just fine Jeremy.  Yes that was what I was asking for. But it doesn't help.

I'm wondering if you have the right input MIDI for Sonar from the VS 100? Try changing the selection for the in port in your Preferences Control Surfaces. Thats the first screen shot you posted.

I tried changing the in and out ports to all combinations possible and still no-go...

We understood the problem though the video was nice.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe there is a switch or button that controls this on the VS 100.
