I use multiple monitors and have no use for the Multi Dock thing at the bottom and wish I could just make it go away to free up a little more screen real estate.
I was saying the same thing, until yesterday when I discovered that you can undock the Multidock, which puts it in its own separate window.  This window can then be moved to a different screen.  I now use it for quick access to softsynth GUIs.

kev999: I use my 2nd screen for console view. Wish I could just hide the Multidock from sight. However, maybe moving the Multidock to the 2nd screen and docking the console in it would work? Have to try that out.

You could undock it and hide it behind another window.  It won't undock while it's empty though, so add something to it that you never use.

Panu's Duckbar http://www.sonarmods.com/forum/index.php has an option to hide the Multidock

The multi-dock is really handy when you un-dock it and move it to a separate screen...simply because you can have multiple pages docked and just click on the tab at the top of the page to switch between pages.

I usually have several instrument piano roll views docked too...along with the console.  Very handy for me.

Thanks Scott, I'm trying. In fact, I just recieved your X2 Power book yesterday in the mail! So, I'm working on it.
Hi Rod... thanks very much! I hope you enjoy the book.

@rodreb & dimelives1-

...I was under the impression that once you go 64 bit, your old 32 bit plugs are history. Am I wrong? That would be great to be wrong about this!...

Sometimes, on a rare occasion, it's actually good to be wrong!

Your old 32 Bit plugs are still usable.

Some prefer to use 'jbridge', but I never need to in Sonar.

[I bought 'jbridge' for Presonus' Studio One thought, which does not have it's own 'Bitbridge' as Sonar does, because it was so cheap - good to have just in case.]
...................................................................................................

...Not POSITIVE it's the same in X2, but I would assume so... Hopefully someone else can confirm...

I can confirm this.  It is the same in X2 as in X1. Should be no problems.

Also regarding Waves, there is now Version 9, which incorporates 64 Bit usage.

I just installed about 30 Waves plugs today and dragged, dropped & opened each one to make sure they all worked - no problems at all!

Sooooo, I installed X2 64 bit tonight. Lost most of my old, faithful, 32 bit plugins! Hell, can't even get my new Cakewalk CA2A to work! All my Bootsy stuff, no go! Is there someting I gotta do to make bitbridge kick in?

You probably need to set X2 to look in your old 32 bit folders. I believe what you need may be in this thread. http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2366349
