After getten tired of watching out for every microsoft updates - And knowing that "we" now can do nothing about future errors, and after trying Reaper...it went a lot faster to change to reaper so i ditchd sonar.

Farewell traveler, REAPER is an excellent DAW, and arguably the most powerful and customizable DAW on the planet, and it is certainly resource friendly. It's only issue to most people is although it has all that power under the hood, quite a few people have trouble harnessing it, they don't know where to find things, how to do things they did in their previous DAW, and the look, the GUI and the menu system does seem to put a lot of folk off, all of which is changeable/customizable of course, but unfortunately some people don't stick around long enough to find these things out, it's to much of a culture shock for them.

Stick with it, and you'll likely love it and be glad you switched.
