Does anybody have an issue when installing Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 after Sonar 8.5?
 
Been trying to work out why I can't install .NET Framework 3.5 on my XP comp ...    or do any third party plugins party intefere with it?  3.5 stops in mid installation.

Try this?

Are you running the downloader install or the full standalone setup? This page has a link at the bottom to download the full standalone installer. When you run this it won't be dependent on your network connection.

Tried both regular and standalone installers.

Found a microsoft fix .net tool  too...      uninstalled other version of  .net too.

Turned antivrius off too... Just hoping that someone might have had the same problem after installing sonar or 3rd party plugins...

.net framework should be Completely unrelated to Sonar.

yeah I know! .. never had a problem before...   could it be something to do with PACE(I-lok) software or visual C redistributles?
