I bought ZeRO SL Mk II controller today. I have SONAR X2, but Automap 4 software has just Setup Sonar 8 in the Software Setup menu (I also have 8.5 and X1 on my PC): http://i.imgur.com/Y9CyPEa.jpg
Anyway I set up X2 Control Surfaces: http://i.imgur.com/y7xfdnR.jpg
But it doesn't seem to work, eg. as I move the sliders, the volume mixer doesn't change in X2, the transport buttons don't work (play, stop), etc. However when I move the volume slider in X2 with my mouse, ZeRO SL writes the dB on the lcd screen (eg. -4,0dB). So there is contact. And also if I turn Automap off and set Remote Control learn in X2, then it works as I move the slider on ZeRO SL.
How should it work in X2 as Automap (buttons, sliders, pots, etc. automatically mapped)?
Thanks!

At the moment, X2 will not be detected in Automap, but you can find the setup instructions for X1 (same setup as X2) in RTF format in C:/Program Files (x86)/Novation/Automap/Setup Guides/Sonar X1/Remote SL - Zero SL

Following the the RTF files in the above listed directory should get things working properly.  I can tell from your screenshot that the settings are not correct at the moment.

If you continue to have trouble, please contact Novation support at:

Thanks, I just did the same as in the instructions, except that MIDI In Port and Out Port is now set to "None".
However it still doesn't work, ZeRO SLMkII writes: "No clients connected. No ReWire transport found."
I contacted the support yesterday the same time I wrote here, I hope they answer soon.

Now as I set the MIDI In Port and Out Port in Control Surfaces to Automap MIDI, the sliders and pots work (as Volume control and Pan) with a small delay (???), however the Play/Stop/etc. buttons don't work ("This row does not have any active controls assigned to it.")

Make sure that transport mode is active (button to the left of the rewind button)

Thanks, meanwhile I figured out (how stupid I am). Now I'm starting to learn it... the mute/solo buttons work, etc.
I opened a VSTi (eg. BassStation, but I also tried with other VSTis), I changed to "inst" from "mixer", but nothing on the LCD and the buttons/sliders/pots are not mapped.
Maybe I should just RTFM. :D (which is hard for me, since I like to figure out things myself).
Thanks anyway!

So as I noticed, Automap software duplicated every VSTs?
Eg. now there is Omnisphere (Automap).dll beside Omnisphere.dll
Now should I detect all my VSTs again in X2 and add every automap version VSTs?
