I'm an Alesis Fusion 8HD user that is all of a sudden having issues with automating my Patch selection via Sonar. Let me be CLEAR. I am NOT saying I have a problem with Sonar. I'm merely asking of any Fusion users here what is their method of automating their patch selection with their equipment. Meaning, do you use a OMNI channel setting? I use an absolute channel setting for each track so I never make the mistake of recording data meant for 1 channel, or track, going on another channel. The MIDI Template provided on the Fusion is a great idea, but I'm having a LOT of problems on the Alesis making it automatically accept the DAW program assignments. Hep Me, KC

I know your using 8.5 but there is about 90% more people on the  X forum and you might have better luck there. Also the Hardware forum is good for questions like yours.

Thanks Cactus. I just didn't want to get anyone angry re:protocol. You know, there are forums out there that REALLY don't take well to such behavior, but I'll take your advice. If anyone gives me a hard time, do you mind if I throw you under the bus? Tanx for the tip, KC
