I owe all of you an apology for taking so long to get here and reply to all of the great comments on this music! I don't take this kind of support lightly...and this forum is unique in that there are usually quite a few responses lately to material posted here. Things have just been crazy and this is the first opportunity I've had to get back to this. This kind of feedback is invaluable to making a song better and I really appreciate everyones comments.
All the best to all of you!!
Kakku- Thank you!
Clint- Thanks! I appreciate the SC feedback too!
Wookie- Thanks for your comments! I used instruments in Komplete and a library called Shevannai ( voices of elves) made by a company called Best Service.
the pogue- Thank you!
Makke- I appreciate you listening and commenting on this!
ruralrocker2010- I had thought the same thing Joshua, that the song is missing a main focal point. It doesn't really have a strong underlying theme. This is something I'm addressing in another project I'm working on now. Even orchestral and cinematic themes usually have a stronger focal point. Crit noted and appreciated. I'm not sure I could change the structure of this...but for future reference I'll be looking at that more seriously. There is a harp motif happening and I guess this is as close as it gets to a melody line which is kind of weak.
Mannynyagain- Thanks for listening and commenting. Theatrical and cinematic were things I was aiming for.Great!
jamesj123- I would definitly watch out for those hobbits if you go into the forest ;) Thank you for listening!
rscain- I am glad that this evoked the kind of mood I was hoping to evoke. If I could attract the attention of video game developers that would be really cool! I used Shevannai- Voices Of Elves on this. Thanks!
drma173- Much appreciated!
Rimshot- Man maybe we could get together on rhyhms some time. I would have liked to add rhythm to it. Thanks for your comments!
whack- Thank you! War drums...great idea!
Guitarpima- Thanks for your comments!
