I have a Dell inspiron i5 17" laptop with NVidia Graphics card GT750M
 
I was always wondering how much a graphics card comes into play with Sonar / DAWs .. as in settings that may enhance / interfere with how the Sonar screens and plugins render, speed of etc?
 
Any thought on this??

A graphics card has very little effect on a DAW, or to put it another way, a DAW has modest graphics requirements.  I would go after the Windows power settings first.

Do you guys enable or disable  disk write caching on your drives?
