You can set it up so that it scans that folder in particular (even though it's scanning subs, maybe it's just being weird and missing it...)
Maybe just try the re-install method and only select V-Vocal and it should re-install over the top of it.

As for the screenshot, you should just be able to print screen, ctrl+v into snaggy, wait for it to upload, crop as required, save that new crop, copy the selection, and just paste the link on the forum. Don't need to insert the 'image' as such. As I did above. A few screen shots should be helpful.
V-Vocal doesn't actually show up in the plug-in manager for me, I guess cause it's not really a 'plug-in' as such (well not in the normal sense I guess). It's just there and works...
