Tried using Boost 11 on my master track of one of my songs as i heard it was a great way to master easily. But on the distorted guitars it just seems to kind of stutter the sound volume on them causing the whole project to sound really off? the guitar sounds are nice and clean signal. Any ideas?

Hmmm... AFAIK on the lowest settings it should not do (practically) anything to the signal.
How active is the Reduction meter in the middle? If it's "hanging down" more than 1/4 of the display hight all the time, you are maybe boosting too much.

how much signal is going into boost11? i find it works best if your master is not too loud already. 

what is the track peaking at before you use Boost?  how about soloing the guitar and trying to A/B the Boost fx?  does it do this even with the input setting at 0 db and the output signal at 0db?  is it the last fx in your Master chain?

Trace your entire signal chain and list what you have, where it goes, what levels they are at each gain stage and this will tell us and you what you did wrong. Something is turned up somewhere.

Sorry, Zeano, but you heard some bad advice. Boost11 is a mediocre limiter, and there are better ones out there for free (or very cheap). 


Your problem is most likely as diagnosed above: the signal going in to the plugin is too hot. If you have it on the master bus, turn down the bus gain slider.
