Hello Guys,

When i playback my project, my Playline is not sync with what i can hear.
When i Play the project, i can see that the PlayLine is starting 1-2sec after the sound started.

That a problem cuz when i use MIDI Tracks to reccord, The Playline doesn't respect the Metronome so it reccords offset.

What is the Setting about that timing playline ??

Thanks a lot for the help

what sound card are you using?

not playing in sync is typically a sampling rate mismatch.

Not playing in sync is also the sign of using MME mode and not having a audio interface.
You should post as much information about what your using for better help.

Hmmm, I have a TASCAM US-125M.
And I'm using ASIO4ALL for the latency so ihave the ASIO Driver, not MME.
I Work with a 44100 sample rate (in Option>Audio Setting)

Could it be the sample rate that produce that Lag with my playback cursor ??

ASIO4all is not a ASIO driver, it's a 3rd party generic driver which is actually a wrapper for WDM/KS drivers.
You would only use it if all else fails to work.
You should download and use the latest ASIO drivers from the Tascam web site first. Remove ASIO4all from your system or it will conflict.

You still didn't give us any information about your system specs which is  important in your scenario.
What is your computers specs , and which OS version, 32 or 64 bit?

Tascam and windows XP 32 bit are well known to have issues.

I use Windows 7 64bits,
Intel(R)Core(TM),
i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz,
8,00 Go RAM
I Work with Sonar 8.5

I searched on the web and it seems that there is no ASIO driver for the Tascam US-125m.. Should i go with WDM/KS ??

Well that's the stupidest thing I ever saw , You are correct, there are no drivers on the download page??
I would not use this interface for a DAW.

In the manual it just says to hook up the USB and it will work and here's your problem right here
" The installation of Driver software is not necessary"
Bull.. Shame on Tascam, They make good hardware but totally suck at software support for the products.
I'm sorry but Sonar doesn't play well with sketchy drivers on some systems.

Your hooped.
Start shopping for a new interface.

Okay,
Seems that the Tascam US-125m doesn't have any Drivers for ASIO or WDM..
So What kind of Audio/Digital Interface Should I use with Sonar 8.5 Cakewalk ??

That's a BIG question.
As you now know the first thing to look up is
" Does this interface have supported drivers for my OS?"

But as far as the hardware end of it make a list.

How many inputs do I need.
XLR
Line in stereo
Instrument
MIDI
SPDIF

How many outputs
Does it run on USB power or have ( at least optional) a power supply. This is sometimes important if you use Phantom Power.
Has it got good controls for flexible monitoring. A blend / mix for the input and computer. Separate headphone and monitor control?

The manual says to use the Windows Standard Driver which is a WDM driver so use WDM. You could also try the WASAPI driver. Either of those would be better than MME or ASIO4ALL.
