hey guys, I want to tear down a mix to 0 again. how do I reset everything? faders, panning, prochannel, fx etc? is this even possible?

Right now I am opening the blank pro channel preset and double clicking faders etc... HUUUUGE PITA

Only way is the hard way AFAIK

But you can group all your faders with the control key, then keeping control pressed, double click your faders - that will reset them all to zero.

Try it out on pans as well - not sure if this works or not, never tried it.

It should work on sends as well (sorry, I keep on thinking of things it might work on)

I agree, it is a PITA. I save a copy of the cwp before mixing to avoid the issue. A project can contain any number of cwp files.

that's true. I didn't have the foresight in this case, While recording I typically adjust the faders etc ending up with a semi-mixed project, but by then everything is tweaked and i have to go back before mixing.

Thanks man, I already tried that. It just offsets all the other faders by x amount that the double clicked fader is away from zero. :( no mass reset unfortunately

Try this.

I find it easier to do in Console view as you can see every track.

Control click all of your tracks

Now drag all the faders down to -INF

Now you can double click any one and they will all return to zero

You must keep the control key pressed throughout this

This also assumes you've deleted any track volume automation

I may not be remembering this correctly, but, I think there's a preference for how group controls are handled - relative or absolute.  Might worth a look just in case.
