My first thought was that Octa-Capture doesn't feed phantom power to all inputs. Just guessing.

Octa-Capture is your soundcard. The integrated soundcard should not be selected anywhere in SONARs settings.

I will say that I have used the reset feature on my interfaces countless times.

Nothing took me longer to debug than the loop-back feature where I kept getting feedback!! Wonder why!! I would have sent it back if I'd known what was good for me.
