Wow, good looks on this link. I'm going to uninstall all updates I had this week for Windows just to see. Thanks, man!

Don't be hasty. See if you've received this update (2823324) or not first. I haven't so it was probably caught before getting around to me.

Here's Microsoft support on the matter.

Alright, so-- I uninstalled the updates and it seems to work fine now, but I also uninstalled the ASIO2ALL drivers. Thinking it was the Windows updates, I reinstalled the ASIO2ALL drivers only to find that the **** was happening again, uninstalled ASIO4ALL and now everything is fine.

I think ASIO4ALL was the issue, but I still dont get why it would all of a sudden decide to **** with Sonar.

sorry I lost you at ASIO2ALL.

why would you be using that when your device has drivers for win 7 x64 right on the site. ?
you have j bridge?
sonar uses bit bridge. is that what your refereeing to ?
and if you think your smooth with that using 32 bit plug ins, think again.
the reason I mentioned it wasn't for my health, I was trying to help you.

there are some plug ins that will crash you out on a 64 bit system if its a 32 bit plug in.
I happen to know of 4 off hand.

but if you've traced it down to windows update and asio4all then your all set.

good luck.
