I really should be ashamed of myself as it really is such a privilege to be in the midst of such fine performers and artists as Jablowmi19!  My mistake.  I thought this was an amateur forum.  I really don't belong among such talent as this.  He's right.  I suck and he's just so wonderfully talented.  I think I'll keep my trashy pieces of s**t off of the internet from now on.

Well... There are many "very" talented people here? But there are many, and yes, sometimes if you need improvement? Someone may point that out? So either grow a thicker skin? Or practice? The choice is yours ;-) **Please note, "Neither" is not an option?
 
I'm thinking a thicker skin is probably best for you? But there's still hope if you practice, and there's always Melodyne?  Don't give up yet!

You've convinced me that I'm just a talentless POS and everything I've ever done is a joke.  Seriously.  I guess I'd better try to find another hobby, because I sure as f**k can't make music and I can't sing either.  Music's been my passion since I can remember but I can't seem to make it well.  Maybe I should just give up on everything.

Once you begin a dialog? Who knows where it will go from there? What is important is to remember, "we can all be better?" All of us. And to begin with a point of view that, "Here it is, it's the best I can do, and it damn well better be good enough!" 
 
Well, it's a bad place from which to start? (not saying that's where you started)
 
I personally am not a mixing or mastering guru, there are many here? What is important is to accept that we're all "here" and we're all trying to get to "there" And the sooner you accept that you're "here" and trying to get "there" the better off you'll be, everyone can improve? All of us.
 
Very few are "there..." We speak their names in hushed tones...
 
But it's best to accept that most of us suck? And could use improvement. And all advice is not good, but some of it is?

I for one have been working on a mix for 6+ weeks? (several hours a day...) It's a pop song that my son wants to sing. I did "the best that I could" but it's still not as good as it could be. It's the nature of the beast. We make it as good as we can. I hope your next is as good as it can be.
 
But if you cannot accept advice/constructive criticism? You will never be good... Understand that "it's a public forum?" And if it's not good? And you don't like hearing that? Well... God's speed, to somewhere else? :-) My advice to you is to "suck less." Or not at all? That would be even better. (report that)

I've reported Jablomi19 for abuse.  He seems to get off sending me numerous PMs with link of him singing and telling me "this is how it's done".  THAT'S constructive criticism?  Where's HIS Grammies?  Who is he to put it to me that way?!  He's no more of a professional that I am.  Damned right I won't post here anymore.  Not a very friendly crowd here afterall.

Don't judge the rest of us by the actions of one person. Put your song back up, there are plenty of people here with constructive advice for you.

I just want the thread deleted.  I can't put the song back up because I took it down from the internet.

I did not get a chance to hear your posted song - but just wanted to encourage you to post your efforts here - some feedback will be constructive and some will be not so much.  My advice would be to take from it what helps, and ignore what does not.
