Been a productive couple of weeks here... got another new song out today.  This one's called Radium, and it's in the style of groove/funk electronica.  I hope you enjoy it!

Great! Love the spoken word stuff ripped from some ephemeral '50's film. All of your other elements blend really well - fizzy synth bass, the keys, the pads, the guitar . . .

In the middle, you have a second section with a synth lead. At the end of the line, you cut the synth lead off pretty abruptly to get to the next spoken word snippet. Around 1:29. Have you thought about fading the synth away instead?

The only other thing maybe you could do to increase  dynamics is to add a breakdown section, if I remember, it's pretty much the same rhythm and volume all the way through.

Suh-weet! Keep bringing it on . . .

Thanks for the listen and comments Tom.

I will take another listen to that synth lead at 1:29, thanks for the catch!

As for a breakdown section, I was hoping the guitar lead would work in that regard, where it's only drums, bass, and guitar (all synths/keys drop out).  I guess I failed to pull that off? ;)

Yes, your guitar section is a good go at a changeup, but I was thinking about a more drastic breakdown, maybe pull it down to just minimal drums, then build it back up. Maybe I am suggesting a cliche .. . ?

When I offer arrangement comments like that, I hope I am showing also my admiration for the tune and your accomplishments. I realize full well that arrangement and structure choices are indeed very personal musical decisions, and yours work pretty darn well in my opinion.

Nice atmospheric track Walt, Thomas Dolby-esque. I like that Moog Pedal lead patch, I've used it a lot in the past . The lead guitar section hits just right for me, it kind of jolts you out of a dreamlike state. Bass is cool, really moves along.

Thanks Tom.  We seem to have similar backgrounds and tastes.  I do appreciate your thoughts.  Keep 'em comin'. ;)

I may yet do something like what you suggest in a "further-broken-down" section, in a remix version.

Thanks James!  I'm a big fan of your work too.  Let me know if you're ever looking for a new collaborator. :)
