No Photoshop amazingly enough, the story was in the New York Post, the guy who owns it lives in Brooklyn. It's a Maine Coon and weighs 25lbs. They usually get pretty big, but not that big.

That cat pretty much covers the guys torso.
 
Even if we assume a torso is only 25% of his body weight the guy would have to weigh only 100 pounds (or less) in order for the proportions of the cat to him to be even somewhat accurate. No?
