the one thing that is a must is disabling your onboard soundcard and the MS Microsoft synth, says it right in the directions.

ive used it a few times but you  know, its possible maybe some computers it wont work with.

ASIO4ALL didn't work for me Charlie.  Performance was worse on a Presonus FirePod, and in fact screwed some things up.  Most people have success w/ it, but it ain't a panecea.  Or maybe it was me, proving ASIO4All isn't idotproof.

I thought Firepod has native ASIO drivers, so you wouldn't need to use generic band-aid substitutes.
