Perfect Space does not seem to have any sounds. When I click on Preset to load something, I see a lot of folders(Performance Hall, Plates, Drums, Guitars, Real Spaces, Strange!,etc.) but when I click a folder, there are no files there. What do I need to do to use Perfect Space? Thanks.

impulse responces,
they should be in your C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Perfect Space  folder.

there are aslo a ton of free responces out there.

are you saying there a just no files in these folders ?

You make your own presets from the impulses (hall plates etc.)- click on the load button to load them.

Load impulse response files with the page icon just below the preset button

Thanks for all the quick help, guys. The page icon thing worked. There are some very cool sounds there. Seems to be a system hog, though, so I may save it for final mix after everything is frozen.

Perfect space is not 64 bit however the impulses are very good. You may want to check out some 64 bit convolution reverbs starting with reverberate.http://www.liquidsonics.c...are_reverberate_le.htm if you like it there is a paid version

Hi, Konrad.

Yes, Perfect Space is a system hog, as are all convolution reverbs, which is why I tend to track with Pantheon or Breverb, and replace it later.  It will cause terrible latency problems, as the number of calculations needed is immense.

I also use Reverberate, mentioned above.

Yes, the latency.  And it is a resource hog, but shouldn't be that bad on an uptodate computer.  Unless you are trying to run a bunch of them.

MeldaProduction also makes a decent inexpensive 64bit replacement for PerfectSpace, I could not resist when it went on sale last month for $22. Still mostly use Valhalla.

Thanks.  I will follow links here and shop around.  My reverb needs are unique because (a) at this time, for whatever reason, I go very light on reverb, unless I am doing orchestral stuff; and (b) I strangely don't care for plate on voice anymore—not sure why.
