I don't what I have touch, but as son as I hit record, it start.  Thénars I Check IF thé latence Is Still there.  I go back in the preferencies and Côme back and thé latency Is gonelle.  I play on the keaboard and it's fine.  Then I hit record and everything start all overdose again.
I read everything (or I!ve probably miss something).  I want on some orner projets who work fine to see in the preferencies IF something was different.

So, I give up and I'm close now to scrap that projet with his latency but, I'm too curious to find what could I have done or touch to be there...

IF somebody see what I'm looping for, please tell me.  So, IF it happening again, ! Could go on.  This happens  two days ago...

TY

It sounds to me like this is being caused by a cpu intensive effect or a look ahead effect.

Press "e" to disable all effects and see if it goes away.  If it does, then you can press "e" again to un-bypass all the effects and track down the culprit.

In Sonar the usual culprits are Perfect Space, PC Concrete Limiter, LP-64 Multiband, LP-64 EQ.

Once you've found the culprit, disable it until you have finished tracking.  You can always track with a different plug if you really need to.

For example, if I want to use Perfect Space convolution reverb on a vocal, I will track with something like Pantheon, and replace it with PS when I'm done recording.  When you are mixing, latency is not really an issue.

Wow!!!  jb101  You're an ace!!!  Thank you so much, I had the TS64 on a drum room mike.  But I saw that just after  I press the e and made a new recording.  The recording went perfectly technicaly.

First, my message was so bad. 1- I'm french and my english is not clean and 2- I was on my ipad and I hate to write on that thing because often, it write not what I'm writing and especialy when I'm hurry.

You make my day jb101.  I hope, one day, I could help!
Thank's again!!!

Really pleased you got it sorted, Muzock. That has made my day, too.

I forgot to add the TS-64 to my list of likely culprits - sorry.  It uses look ahead, so Sonar has to delay playback whilst it reads ahead.

And don't apologise for your english, it's probably better than most english speaking people's french.

Happy recording.

Jonathan.
