Given all the discussion on Take Lanes, I expect there will be some changes to them in the next patch.

So I'm going to wait for the patch before spending any effort learning about them.

I've often wondered how our book and video tutorial authors go about teaching a function that is still in development.
It must require some fancy footwork, and perhaps a prayer or two :-)

Or perhaps a non-disclosure agreeement.

Ah! This would imply release of X2b in the next two days, seeing as how Scott's book goes on sale on April 3rd :-)

X2B or not X2B. That is the question!

I think there's still more bugs to find in X2a. In fact, I just found another one that hits me every time when I click the Automation Lanes button to collapse the Automation Lanes. It seems to only occur when using Track Folders, but it will collapse all the folders when clicked. I dunno.

Great, then they can really focus on bringing the V Studio 700 up to speed with the new software!

I base my expectation more on the fact that X1b was released in March than on any great need for fixes at my end.

I thought X2 might follow a similar rollout scheme to X1.

And I have heard the odd complaint here and there regarding take lanes, or at least the desire for some improvements.
