Hey guys,
I've been using Sonar X2 Producer almost since it came out and I've been doing quite a bit of work in it...still a lot to learn and still a lot more to know...and still some constant problems...but I'm working through them...

But I'm working on a project and for some reason, at the end of one of my songs, the bass drum just "drops out" in the exported mix down file...the bass drum plays in the production file just fine...I've exported the song twice and the drop outs are in (I think) the same place...what could cause something like this?

My drum tracks are all Session Drummer...the only effects on the drum tracks are Percussion Strip for bass drum, snare and HH...the song consists of drums, bass, piano, organ and guitar (BTW...all keys are Dimension Pro)...

If anyone can help me fix this that would be awesome...I need to get this figured out because I need performance tracks for a client by next week...

Thanks!

Right, where to start.....

Can you please provide your full system specs, CPU, RAM, HDD, OS, Interface etc

What settings are you using in the Export dialog box?
Have you tried disabling "Fast Bounce" and running the export in real time?

Bit Depth/Sample rate please - it might not be relevant but it might help as well.

Be sure that you selected ALL of the drum track and not just a part of it.

If the track is a series of clips, you need to check the  track before you export to be sure all of the clips were selected. Especially if the first part of the track is sounding OK..... I've had this happen to me.

How long does it drop out for? 1 beat, 1 measure, 10 measures?

Is the bass drum track a separate track from the other drums? Is it made of multiple clips?

When you do your export, you should mute the tracks you don't want, press CTRL- A to select all tracks (and clips) and then File-Export-Audio. That will keep you from missing parts because you didn't select all the clips.

this can sometimes be due to an unwanted/mistake of automation as well.
check your automation on that track to be sure you didn't by mistake drop in in the mix.

Are you recording your mixdown back into X2?
I've had some issues with SD playback when recording a mixdown back into X2.
