Interesting situation here...

When I open Superior Drummer and Select the Music City Kit, then switch to the "Brush Kit"
If I play the Bass Drum Sample rapidly, then release, as it begins to fade, a "voice" comes in
faintly and says "Grace" apparently. It's pretty clear. It won't happen when you just hit the Bass
drum once. But if you do it 3 to 5 times or more rapidly, as the sample starts to fade, you'll here a "Mic" click in
and then you'll hear someone say what seems to be the word "grace"...the hits must be rapidly in succession...

I did it in every host, Solo, Sonar, Pro Tools, Reaper, all of them...same result...

Is this an "oops" in one of the samples?

Can someone verify this?

In related news: "a local musician who spends a great deal of time with music software, now swears his drums are talking to him.....apparently without any kind of (known) "influence".

Ps.
I'd use that in a song.

Wasn't he in a band called The Son's Of Sam?

Lars, that is flat out creepy. A not very serious thought: The guy says to the Doctor, "Doc, it hurts when I do this." Doctor says, "...

I found this because I was audition the kit for a Country song I'm doing.
So, as I was auditioning the kit pieces...as I rapidly hit the bass drum,
I was getting ready to move to the next kit piece.  As the sample faded,
all of a sudden I heard "click....grace".  I thought it might have been something
playing on my PC in the background, even though nothing else was running.

So I did it again.  It happened again.  I was in Sonar at the time.  So I opened
up TT Solo, pulled up the kit, switched to the the Brush Kit, and did the same thing.
Same result, so I did it in Reaper...same...and then went to Pro Tools...same...

Weird how this could be out for so long an no one ever noticed this...

Strange. i have the same kit.  I just checked and this doesn't happen to me.
I don't suppose you tend to mess with SD while you're eating?  Perhaps your kick drum found religion and is insisting that someone says grace?

Maybe you've got a sketchy sample in the bunch?  you could try re-downloading and see if that fixes the issue.

Make sure you are using the "Brush Kit" in Music City.  It doesn't happen in the other kits...just the
Brush Kit...but it's definitely not "my PC".  I've verified that...it's directly in the Sample...

NOTE...it's best and easiest heard through your headphones...as it's very faint
but very noticeable...

Finally got a reply from Toontrack and they have verified that it IS there,
and that one of the samples indeed did not get "trimmed" properly, and they
are correcting it.  Look for an update soon...
