Just chiming in to add support to the idea of having some kind of contrast / brightness options. I often work late at night in a low light environment and the grey blue look strains the eyes a little.

On a side note - anyone found a setting for changing the text colour in the browser ? It drives me slightly mad for reasons I've yet to fathom.
