swamptooth I use 24/88.2

There's your problem, most likely.
TTS-1 has never worked at 88.2. It is well documented.
41,48, 96, anything but 88.

To uninstall TTS I think all you need to do is find the DLL file and remove it..... BUT... I would NOT do that. To reinstall it would likely require going back through the DAW installation process since it's a part of Cake in a manner of speaking.

Personally, I don't think you have a "bad" TTS install. As you dig deeper, you will find something else is at fault. What RobertB suggested about the sampling rate is very likely all or part of the problem. I never run TTS at anything other than 44.1k  and it works and sounds good. try resetting the sampling rate and try it again.  I have heard of problems with synths run at other than optimal sampling rates.

As a parting thought, aside from the ability of TTS to handle 16 different instruments at a time, I find that other synths have better quality sounds unless there is the need for an old school GM patch.

+1 on adjusting the sample rate to either 44.1 or 96.

I do find TTS-1 useful as an initial synth source when I open midi files I obtain from the web, as it is really a good GM synth, but I agree that other synths have better sounds, so after I start with TTS-1 just to get audio output, I go back in an swap out the sounds for better synth sounds - like those from Kontakt, etc.

It less complicated to test the TTS-1  All you need to do is insert it and open the GUI. You can test it by clicking on the GUI note icon at bottom of each channel. If you don't hear anything you know your output is not set up properly. This takes a lot of other things out of the equation.
Robert B has the answer to this particular issue. It the sample rate.
There should be no problems playing TTS-1 in the 64 bit environment.

OK Thank's to all of you.  I got my answer.  So, if I take the TTS for a projet I'll change my sample rate.

no harm and no foul will come from using 44.1k sample rate on everything. I do. Set Bit depth to 24 and you're good to go.

+1 on 44.1 / 24-bit.

Not too hard on the system, and everything works quite nicely.
