I recently bought and installed a download upgrade from Sonar 8 to X1 Expanded (Producer versions). However, in the first email with the download links, I was given an incorrect link. This was supposedly corrected in subsequent emails.

However, after all the downloads and installs were completed, I wound up with "X1d build 535", where I was expecting to wind up with "X1e".

Was hoping someone might tell me is there such a thing as "X1e" and is that what I should have after a full and correct upgrade. Thanks

"X1d build 535" is the final version of X1 Producer Expanded

Most refer to "Expanded" as X1e,  I wouldn't let that confuse you.
Expanded is downloaded from your Account in Cakewalks Store and requires the S/N and R/N your were assigned/given as shown in your account.

X1d patch (Which I would install) is downloaded from Support Section

When X1 Expanded was released it was a an update for SONAR X1 Producer around the time that the X1 C patch was available.
That created a branch in the update path requiring different patches for X1Producer or X1Producer Expanded - hence, as has already been stated, many referred to Expanded as X1e rather than the correct X1d Expanded.

that is behind us now as the various additional features that were provided with the X1 Producer Expanded addition have been rolled up into X2 from it's release.

  I am using the Sonar Plus add-on, version 1.0.3. When I start Sonar Plus, it gives me an error message saying it is designed for Sonar X1e, and that I have X1d. The author of Sonar Plus says he now works for Sonar, so its easy for me to think he might get the details correct about X1e.

Sounds like your talking about Panups creation.

When you go into "About" on Sonar, does it show you have "X1 Expanded" or just X1?
