So in Sonar X2 raptor 1.0 wants to register but when I do, it says it already has been (which is true). No path to proceed however. So I just ran 1.2.2 installation. Same thing. My account has it it registered but I can't activate. ? -rich

If you had a previous version of Rapture installed, installing the X2 version was not necessary. It appears that you have already attempted the installation anyway and now have registration problems. Try registering the standalone version as administrator using the most recent credentials. If that does not work and http://www.cakewalk.com/S...reader.aspx/2007013294 does not work, you might need to uninstall Rapture, make sure the registry entries are also removed and reinstall using the link. FYI, depending on what extras you have installed, it might be a good idea to save away the contents of C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Rapture (this is a hidden directory) and your multisample directory BEFORE uninstalling. Sometimes, it is easier to reintegrate this data rather than trying to find all the original sources. BTW, you might get better and faster replies by posting in the X2 forum above this one.

Run Sonar as Administrator (right click the shortcut and click on Run As Administrator). The insert Rapture and you should be able to enter the registration code.

Scook, thanks for your ideas but Daveny5's worked great. Oh the time I wasted on that. Tough to search for a solution too, thought I had it with the 1.2.2 patch. Thanks again to both! -rich
