I'm really happy with this one, mostly alot of tweaking of the samples that came with SONAR X1 Producer and a few played keyboard synthesizer parts. I wanted something technical but thumping, "HIGH IMPACT!" and I think I achieved that!

So, yes, I too believe you achieved what you set out to accomplish. However, if you wouldn't mind sharing some of the techniques and FX used to accomplish this sound? I for one would be very appreciative.

Well Mr. `J19' Thank you for asking and this songs was alot of time playings some of the excellent sample content that comes with SONAR...I can't say enough about what a resource these are! I like to find a bassline and a drum beat for a song like this and often to get that beat from samples I mix 2,5 or 10 layers in the drum track from samples from the SONAR library. I know one of the basslines atleast which was sampled I had fun going in and chagning the note values in the loop browser view. I used a couple synth sounds from the Nexus 2 synth and a CakeWalk SONAR SI-Bass Guitar VST.

One of the things I play with alot is the SONITUS DELAY on any track and usung vues like 1/4 delay for left and 2 delay for right and play with those for a nice stereo delay... (while making sure that the SONITUS DELAY IS SET TO THE SAME tempo as my track as it does not automatically do so.) I spent most of my time on effects and sample changing in this piece...
