isn't always like kids to show up the day before something's due and expect you to bail them out?

great job in the time you had!

Thanks for the comments guys,  I have to wait to see what marks his college tutor gives it...

Personally I'd give him 100% for using his brain and getting someone else to do it

I think it’s great for a several  reasons.
1 – it’s an original tune that has some substance to it
2 – vocal although rough in spots has a quality that suits the material – well sung
3 – they both appear composed and confident
4 – you made this materialize for them.
5 - sounds good and video is fun
I hope they appreciate your effort.  A family that plays together . . . (not sure it’s true in all cases but I’d like to believe so).

Thanks for the comments Manny.  They'll be thrilled by your response.

Yes, her vocal is a little rough in places and any other time I'd have made her redo it, but the focus was on the video this time.

Very cool. It sounds great and looks great. I've been reading up a bit on video...It's something I would like to get into at some point. What kind of camera and software did you use? If you don't mind me asking.

+1 to what Manny wrote.
This is actually quite nice, and I watched it several times.
It is sure to be a treasured memory for all of you.

Thanks Bob,  feel free to watch it several times more...

Clint,  Music was recorded Saturday evening with Sonar (of course), video shoot Sunday afternoon, Editing Sunday evening.
Camera - Panasonic HC-X920 hand held,
Editing - Final Cut Pro on my mac.  I need to learn how to use this properly.

Total from start to upload (excluding messing around time,  more messing about, hey guys I have other things to do you know...  Do you want to do this or not?)  about 6 hours, maybe less, you know how time flies when you're having fun.

Great job!  It sounds and looks good.   Hopefully he gets a decent grade with all your hard work.

For me to throw something like that together would probably take about two weeks.
