Hello!

I have noticed that in Sonar x2a ACT wont focus on the plugins that are in the effect bin. It only focuses on the pro channel. Before x2a it was the opposite. Its nice to be able to focus act in the pro channel but now? No effect bin??
Anyone?

Thanks!

As far as I can remember it does still see any plugin in the fx bin. I need to check which will now be tomorrow perhaps someone else can check this out.

What control surface are you using...give some more detail about what equipment you are working with...this sounds like a config issue...

It might be an issue with your controller/setup but ACT definitely focuses on the FX bin here. I was using it yesterday while working on a video.

Hey people!!
Thanks for your concern and taking time to reply! :)

I found the solution... I had to press the ACT button on my controller. That makes it focus on the effects bin.

I am using 2 bcf2000s and a bcr2000 with the VS700 control surface plugin. (
NOT in makcie mode and NOT the mackie mode plugin.)

So, its like I have all the commands that the vs700 has.

Now everything works great. I dont have to click on the pro channel like before to get focus on it. So, I have a total NO mouse controller for mixing. The only thing missing would be an LCD plugin like the Bcfview for mackie mode because I can also insert a plugin from the controller but I dont have visual display to the effect that Im chosing. So, thats the only time I use the mouse. To insert plugins.

Interesting...I didn't know you could use the VS-700 instead of Mackie Control to use those units...hmmm....

Yeah you can! The bcf and the bcr faders buttons and knobs can be mapped to any midi message you want. cc. pb, notes, and more.
So, I found what midi messages each button on the vs700 is and I assigned the same midi message to my units.
So you insert a vs700 control surface plugin and there you go!
I dont know if anyone else has done this before. But it works great!!
