is it specific to chrome? what about ie?

the first thing that i think is that windows is configured to use the same sound card that sonar is using. this can cause problems when windows tries to change your audio cards sample rate.


for me things run good when windows uses the onboard sound chip. this way i can use other windows programs such as internet or wmp while playing sonar at the same time.

Hi gbarrett,

Could you describe how you did that?  I was also under the impression that I could have a user account with less processes enabled, but wasn't sure.  I'm good at Windows operations but wasn't sure if what you described would work.

I'd like to do what you did in order to provide Sonar with all of the resources that it needs.

This sounds like a great idea to me as well. As Duke says, I've always known this is an option, but never really knew how.

Hate Chrome...Hate Google all together. I am living for the day my contract is up and the Droid is gone as well.
