I'm missing something somewhere .. keep checking through documentation cannot find solution:
Sonar x2
Windows 7
Aria Player
But I'm working on a large 16 track piece. When I "solo"
one track to check on contents; that all goes fine, but after that, I then "unsolo" that track, and suddenly, all tracks become instantly inaudible.
I've tried lots of different things.
(and what's with the "search" command here in the forum; hate to post a new thread if there's already solution(s) but the search feature is not working.)
I already have Edit>preferences>Project Midi>Zero Controllers etc., etc., unchecked.
Please advise me: how do I keep/retain the audio-ability of all my tracks? I lose it automatically right if I "solo" one track.
And as long as your here, can you please comment on if there's any known issues with this operation:
I have Finale 2012; create a composition; save it in their *.mus format.
But then I also save it in *.mid format.
I then open Sonar, open the midi file.
It does so, but then I have to manually enter the Aria Player into each track individually every time for each track; a painstakingly tiresome procedure. Is there no global command: "Set all outputs to Aria" (or any other destintation)?
I've always do the Insert>Softsynth>VST>Aria command ... but then I need to always go to the check box beneath IN/OUT>OMNI (at far bottom left-hand corner) and select each track's output from "Microsoft GS Wavetable" to "Aria Player" .. is there no way to command ALL tracks to play Aria?
Thanks greatly for any assistance!!!
