I'd like to pick this up but considering how many synths I have, I would need to score a good deal to make it feasible...

Steve Duda rarely (if at all) puts any of his products on sale.....I've only seen a bit of discount price over at KVR. Also, it becomes NFR after buying it used.
Eventually, I'll also pick this up as I do like the few VST's that Steve has made (LFO Tool might be next).

Thanks Mesh, that's sort of the vibe I got doing some searching...

Steve hates sales. He hates that feeling you get when you buy something to only go on sale a week later or if you just miss a sale so he simply doesn't do them apart from intro prices. If you want it cheaper, you'll likely have to buy it from a place like KVR but you have a $25 fee that must be paid by the buyer https://xferrecords.com/general/topics/selling-xfer-vst-license-transfer

That said, it's well worth the money. Where most companies release a plugin and maybe give it a patch or two, Steve constantly works on his stuff adding new features all the time. He really puts his heart into his products and is one of the few people I vehemently love to support.

Thanks for the info! I'm selling my Arturia collection as it is a TON of instruments, but I'm not a keyboard player and I'm not a vintage synth guy. From my research, Serum could be worth my time to learn and I could be productive with it. I'm a visual guy, so I like how the UI lets you see what you are doing.

Anyway, may just have to pick it up at full price...

Cthulhu is great. Sure wish I'd bought Serum instead of Waves Codex.

Anybody wanna trade?

I am exploring Cthulhu more on a song I'm working on now and I'm digging it. :)

Before you part with cash for Serum, check out Icarus from Tone 2 - I think it's nearing the end of beta and there seems to be a hell of a buzz about it.  It may shortly establish itself as the wavetable synth gold standard.  That's not a promise - I haven't gotten hands on it or even read documentation yet, but there does seem to be a lot of excitement building.

Don't know how it sounds. I abandoned the site. Geez, but I hate those constant slide-down, slide-up, shimmy shimmy shake shake HTML attention getters. Couldn't make through reading all of the info before I got so irritated, I split. Really annoying.
