I checked out the site and it does look interesting. I'm becoming a fan of Steve Duda though, and I've played with the Serum demo.
Man I wish they ran sales...
That's one of the problems with the American way...
We've become so used to "sales" that we won't buy something when it's not on sale.
I say "rubbish." I don't mean "pay more than necessary." What I do mean is "support vendors who resist this stupid sales/marketing B.S."
Here's an example of a major manufacturer who I support, in part, for this very reason: Subaru (I'm on my second, and they last a LONG time).
They don't have sales. What they do do each year in December is have a "Share the Love" event. You buy a new Subie, and they donate $250 to the charity (from a list) you nominate. My kind of company.
Steve's no different. Since you KNOW there will be no sales, you can make the economic and artistic decision about Serum being for you, or not.
So what I'm hearing from you is that Serum isn't worth its price to you. Cool. I haven't bought it yet, either.
