Thank you AZslow for all your hard work and efforts to make this product that much better, you did such a good job that I can't imagine using my hardware under any other conditions, So until Sonar simply can not cut it anymore, which is not in my foreseeable music future,  I will enjoy what it has become. people are still happy with old versions.  We have a gem here, that isn't even fully realized and if it doesn't get any better, it's still good enough.  Maybe if we stop looking for the latest greatest, appreciate what we have, we can probably get some nice music made.   Surely we know by now that the grass is only greener because were not close enough.  Thank you again AZSlow, there isn't anywhere else I want to go.   I stand behind Sonar...in-case it collapse.

I'll be staying with Sonar until windoze won't run it any more.  I have Studio One for portable because I use a McBook, but my studio will remain Sonar.

I have a good feeling Sonar will become a part of nostalgia for many people.
Like a classic car. I also expect people/users to be moding it, making new themes, possibly finding a way to hack the code and make changes.

This is not the end of Sonar.
Its the beginning of something else.

I too would like to thank Azslow for all his work. I'll keep using Splat for as long as I can. I already have  S1-3 so I'll invest a bit more time with it. Thanks again Alexy!
Sincerely,
All
P.S. I hope Chuck is right!

Thanks very much Alexey for your work--- made the X-touch mini controller a piece of cake, so to speak.

Hope you continue to contribute over at the new upstart sonar forums that have been mentioned in other threads...

Salud!

Thanks friends!
I am not freezing AZ Controller yet. I have registered on "Plan B" and my forum will stay in tact.

But I will try to find some other DAW. While blamed by many for pure Control Surface support, Cakewalk is the only one with dedicated controller SDK in public. The only other DAW which has something in this direction is Reaper. But I have asked other 3 actively discussed alternatives, I do not even need a public SDK, AZ Controller is closed source and so "compatible" with NDA interfaces.
The code will be reorganized/rewritten once I find another attachment point. It will take time (a year... the first release of AZ Controller was also after one year of development, since I can only use a part of my free time for that).

Hi:)

Thankyou very much Alexey for your work.
I think  it would be very hard to live without AZCtrl and my BCR2000, so I stay on Sonar as long as possible!

Bassman.
