First time I open sonar it takes a long time to load jamstx3.dll. I rarely use jamstix. How can I get it to not load it every time?

Also... once it is loaded I can close and open sonar and it doesn't go through that anymore. Does it set a cookie or something? It seems like the next day it goes through the same procedure... slow at first then ok. Weird.

Jamstix shouldn't load at all unless it's in your project, or in your default template when you start a new project. If you're sure that's not the case (just open the synth rack and see if it's listed), then what you're seeing is SONAR doing a VST scan. You can turn that off via Options -> Global -> VST Plugins -> "Scan for VST Plug-ins On Startup".

Yeah... that was it, thanks. At some point I told sonar to do that and then forgot about it.
