I do not know the io2, but have just had a little look around.  It appears that it does not have ASIO drivers, but uses ASIO4ALL.  I may be wrong.
 
I know very little about ASIO4ALL, which is basically a wrapper to make Sonar, etc., think it is ASIO.
 
Perhaps someone will chip in who knows about these things.  I know I have read posts that have reported success with ASIO4ALL, I just have no experience with it.
