Any recommendations are highly appreciated. I remember back in the early days of sonar, that I had a seems like a sound loops disc that had some really cool ethnic type of hand drums on it. I would like to find something like that again.

EZ Drummer has a Latin set and Battery has quite a bit if stuff as well.

I think there's some things like that in the included content with X2, that used to be part of the Beatscape content.  I can't check now, but it might be worth a look.
 
And +1 to EZdrummer Latin Percussion.

the beatscape factory content came with several.  they're now x2's "loops" content.  i can't recommend big fish audio's stuff highly enough.

Native Instruments has "West African Drums" (works nicely as a plug-in w/Sonar X2) which I have and like alot, they also have "Balinese Gamelin" (which I do not).
 
They used to have "North India" (I have this too) and it has a full range of instruments including percussion. But I can't see it on their site anymore....
