Agreed. I was holding back too. Brass represent a lot of thing, just like string.
For example, I use DSF brass for quick and simple to setup pop chords stab. DSF is where I got started when I add my sound library.
Later, I also use Garritan Jazz for detail arrangements for trumpets, trombone, saxes, etc.. If you spend time to setup Garritan (instrument choice and panning), you can get a better combination of brass sound that sounds more real than the already processed (mixed) DSFs.
Note : DSF does have separate brass/woodwind instruments... but I take it you mean the processed brass ?
Now, I've also added the NI Session Horns which is great for both chords stabs and solos - trumpets, trombone and sax combo.
